Discover the wonders of nature by attending a free, quality program from our award-winning Let’s Go Outdoors! catalog. Programs are designed for the young and young-at-heart.

Sign-Up for Activities

A guide promoting outdoor activities for all ages, featuring baby birds on a beach, from the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District.

Registration is required for most programs. Registration opens one calendar month prior to the session start date at 12:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm the day before the activity. The link above will take you to CivicRec.

Annual Wildflower Show

Join us for our 27th Annual Summer Wildflower Show at Garland Ranch Regional Park

Location: Garland Ranch Regional Park Visitor Center

( 700 West Carmel Valley Road (approx. 8.6 miles east of Highway 1 or 1 mile west of Laureles Grade)

Dates: Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14

Times: 10am to 4pm

Come view the colorful display of the summer wildflowers of Garland Ranch Regional Park, Marina Dunes Preserve, and Palo Corona Regional Park.

Bring your families and visit our outreach booths to learn about:

  • The history of Garland Ranch Regional Park
  • The Monterey Bay Master Gardeners
  • The California Native Plant Society (on Sunday only)

The event is free for all.

Call for LGO! Instructors

Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills about nature with others? If so, the Park District is looking for you to lead a Let’s Go Outdoors! program.

Read the "Call for Instructors" flyer for more information and submit a proposal if you would like to lead an outdoor-related program, class, or nature-themed activity.

Submit proposal for Fall 2026/Winter 2027: Instructor Proposal Form, by August 4, 2026.
