Jeffrey (Jeff) Markham (spirit animal pictured Left) brings experience as a software engineer with Cadence Design Systems and Microsoft to represent Ward 1 residents.

With a passion for the outdoors, science, and the arts, Jeff enjoys hiking and camping, playing music, exploring astronomy, and staying active in the community at Locke-Paddon Wetlands Community Park and Marina Dunes Preserve. A longtime volunteer at Lick Observatory and a Lifetime member of the Sierra Club, he values environmental stewardship and public access to open space.

Jeff currently resides in Marina, California, and looks forward to serving District residents by keeping Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District parks accessible while preserving their natural features for future generations.
